I recently got the first pick in one of my PPR fantasy football leagues and the pressure to make the right pick is on.

At the end of the day, the only people that are really in the conversation for being the number one pick are David Johnson, Le'Veon Bell and maybe Antonio Brown.

The best part is that no matter who you pick, you're going to get a great player. It might be a season that the second pick in the draft is the best place to be.

However, I think that Bell deserves to be the number one pick this season in both leagues. I'm not going to dip down into the weeds on this one but I'll make things simple.

Johnson gets more red zone looks because he's the teams only great option and I think teams will recognize that this year. The Cardinals offensive line helps Johnson's fantasy value because he get's a ton of passes checked down to him since Carson Palmer is constantly under fire. But so does Bell and the difference is not enough to push Johnson over the top for me.

Johnson also benefits from his defense since they will be back to full health and will likely have no trouble keeping opponents out of the end zone. But that could either help or hurt Johnson if the Cardinals find themselves needing to score multiple touchdowns quickly.

Bell get's to run behind one of the best offensive lines in the league. He also gets the pleasure of finishing drives when Big B, Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant march down the field.

No matter how you look at it, Bell is a huge part of the Steelers offensive attack and that doesn't change just because Martavis Bryant comes back. Lastly, the Steelers are going to put up some points this season, which means Bell will get some great late game touches to run out the clock.

Either way, both players are going to have one heck of a year and I would be happy to have either one of them. I just lean towards Bell with my number one pick, if you disagree let me know on Twitter @nickespn991.
