Team Practice Sets Attendance Records
For most people in America, the start of August usually signifies the height of summer for people. Many people are enjoying the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer, while others are planning their next vacation or beach trip.
However, Western New York and the people who call the region home are not like most of America, especially when it comes to one thing in particular: The Buffalo Bills.
Football season is getting underway in Buffalo, and if you needed a glimpse at how crazy Buffalonians are for their Bills, then you just needed to head over to One Bills Drive in Orchard Park, New York, where you would've been greeted by thousands of screaming fans to watch the Bills practice.
Buffalo Bills Fans Set Attendance Record for Return Of The Blue & Red Practice
During training camp, the Buffalo Bills get ready for the upcoming season at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, taking over the campus and sports facility to help the team prepare for a long few months of football. However, after a few weeks in Rochester, the team returns to Orchard Park for a tradition that has grown beyond the wildest dreams of most fans.
The Return Of The Blue & Red Practice is a public offense vs defense practice and scrimmage that takes place at Highmark Stadium. This year's practice, which happened on Friday, August 1, 2025, had the team in full uniform, and the scrimmage also featured the return of the Red Charging Buffalo helmet, worn by reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen.
The team so hypes bills fans that they set a practice attendance record this year.
Nearly 40,000 people piled into Highmark Stadium to watch the hometown team practice, not a game, but practice we're talking about.
The hype for the final season at Highmark Stadium is real. Let's go, Buffalo!
