The Buffalo Bills look to be pretty healthy heading into this weekend's matchup against the Broncos. But there's one player on the injury report that is pretty concerning.

It's hard to believe that the Bills are heading into their 11th game since drafting Josh Allen this weekend.  He's just 5-5 in all of his NFL playoff games and they're hoping that this year is the year they finally get "over the hump" and find a way to win it all.  But to do it, they'll need every player to contribute.

So far, the Bills look pretty healthy

The Bills have certainly dealt with their fair share of injuries this year.  Right off the bat, they lost Matt Milano for what seemed like an eternity just as he was getting ready to come back from a devastating broken leg the year before.  They went weeks without Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman.  But it looks as though they might be getting healthy just at the right time.  They released this week's injury report and the good news is that there were only two players who weren't full participants in today's practice.

The most concerning part of the Bills injury report

Luckily, only one player listed on the injury report was limited in practice.  The bad news is that he plays a very important position.  Rookie punt and kick returner, Brandon Codrington is dealing with a hamstring injury and we can't tell if he'll be ready to go on Sunday yet.  Returning kicks and punts isn't an easy job.  It takes a very skilled player to be able to make a decision in just seconds then be able to set their team up in the best position possible.  It takes years of practice to get good at it and one muffed punt could put the other team in a great position to change the game.

Who could take his place?

If he's not able to go, the Bills will do as they've done all year and just count on the "next man up."  But who is that?

Other players who have returned kicks and punts this year include running backs Ty Johnson and Ray Davis.  Mack Hollins is credited for a 38 yard kick return also, but that was the onside kick that he fielded in the Detroit game.

Of course, they have another guy on the team that used to return kicks and punts every now and then.  Could this be the return of Micah Hyde if Codrington can't go?
