We didn't see a lot of Josh Allen on Sunday, but he did something that will stick with a lot of people and prove why he's the best we could ask for.

Josh Allen only played one play against the Patriots on Sunday.  It was a simple handoff to James Cook to start the game.  It was important to him though because it kept his streak alive for the most games started by a quarterback.

But he was still having an impact while he stood on the sidelines.

This proves that it's the little things that matter and also just how important character is.

Sunday, the Bills were in Foxboro, Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots.  While they were warming up, Josh took the time to do something that was incredibly simple.  Most people didn't even see it but once you have, it will be etched in your brain for a long time.

Josh Reed from WIVB was able to capture it and share it on social media.

Allen took the time to not only shake every one of their hands and say thank you but then took a picture with them (and a couple of kids) before heading back out to the field.

It's a classy gesture and one that didn't take long but it proves just how well he was raised.  He understands who the true heroes are and how much they mean to us.

Did you notice that he made sure to take pictures with the kids too?  He's told a story of how he was skipped by a professional baseball player when he was a kid and how he never wanted any kid to feel that way because of him.  It certainly appears as though he's doing his best to stay true to his word on that.

We can brag all we want about the things that he does on the field, which are all pretty amazing, but it's this stuff that makes you really love the guy.
