The Minnesota Ice Castles is truly a must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairytales to life in the Midwest. Minnesota is one of only five major cities that bring incredible ice castles to life.

You have never seen a Minnesota winter like this. The Minnesota Ice Castles is set to be one of the biggest winter destinations in all of Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota.
These Minnesota Ice Castles will be made of over 20 million pounds of ice per castle and over 12,000 icicles will be grown a day. Other ice castle locations include Cripple Creek, Colorado, Eagle, Colorado, North Woodstock, New Hampshire, and Midway, Utah.
There's something for everyone to discover at the Minnesota Ice Castles like the magical icy tunnels, frosty slides, massive ice sculptures, caverns and archways, and even a Polar Pub, which is a frosty ice bar that serves winter-theme alcoholic beverages.
So where can Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota residents find the magical Minnesota Ice Castles this year? The ice castles are returning this year, but this year you can find them at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds!
