Country Star Chris Stapleton Surprises Sioux Falls Liquor Shop

If Sioux Falls residents were shopping at the local Williquors store on West Avera Drive on Friday afternoon, these lucky shoppers got the shock of the year.

Chris Stapleton made his return to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Friday, May 24th. But before the Grammy-Award-winning artist took the stage, he made a special appearance at Williquors. Cheers to that!

Chris Stapleton has a whiskey line available at Williquors called Traveller Whiskey. As a surprise for the local liquor store and for fans, Chris Stapleton signed a few bottles of his Traveller Whiskey. How cool is that?!

So what is Traveller Whiskey from Chris Stapleton?

This unique whiskey is a collaboration with Buffalo Trace Distillery and Chris Stapleton himself. If you're a whiskey fan, this liquor is not something you find every day on the shelf:

Some tasting points to keep in mind: Traveller Whiskey has a taste of vanilla, aged fruit and buttery shortbread rounded off by caramel and a touch of oak. The palate has just a touch of sweetness, followed by spice, toasted nut and oak flavors, with a robust finish. This sounds like a whiskey I'd enjoy!

Chris Stapleton is one of the largest artists in country music and has been dominating award ceremonies for years. Just recently, Chris won the 2024 ACM Award for Male Artist of the Year. It's awesome Chris took the time to stop at Williquors in Sioux Falls hours before he went to perform.
