Rapid City, South Dakota, will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the City of Presidents tour this weekend. The big surprise of the weekend is the unveiling of its newest addition—President Donald J. Trump.

According to its website, this Rapid City gem started "in 2000 to honor the legacy of the American presidency. Each sculpture is privately funded, and the pattern of placement was chosen to maintain the orderly structure and eliminate any sense of favoritism or political gain. The City of Presidents is part of the Rapid City Historic District Tour." These sculptures are so cool to see on the Rapid City streets. They are life-size statues that allow residents and tourists a unique encounter with history.

Downtown Rapid City has been teasing the new President Trump statue on its Facebook page, and people are excited for this new addition.

When is the 25th Anniversary of the City of Presidents?

The 25th Anniversary of the City of Presidents celebration will be this Saturday, May 3rd, beginning at 3 PM at the historic Elks Theatre in downtown Rapid City. Doors will open at 2:30, and it's a free event. But seating is first come, first served. You can even be one of the first people to take a picture with President Trump's new South Dakota statue!
