Get a Shamrock Shake and Help Raise Awareness for Mental Health in South Dakota
It's that time of year. Saint Patrick's Day is right around the corner, and you know what that means? Shamrock Shakes are back at McDonald's.
This year, Fight Like A Ninja is partnering with McDonald's in Sioux Falls, Brandon, Brookings, and Watertown will be using the Shamrock Shake to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.
On March 7, 2025, it's Shamrock Shakes for Brittany. That day a portion of every Shamrock Shake sold at participating McDonald's will go directly toward mental health initiatives, scholarships, and the Reach In Program.
This special event honors Brittany "The Ninja", who lost her life to suicide and supports Fight Like A Ninja’s mission to break the stigma around mental health, especially for young athletes.
"A simple conversation can save a life," Angela Drake, founder of Fight Like A Ninja said in a press release. "We hope that by enjoying a Shamrock Shake together, people will be inspired to check in with a friend, start an important conversation, and remind others they are not alone."
