Spencer, Iowa is just a short 100-mile drive. That drive will get you to an awesome county fair that is packing quite an entertainment punch this year. A quick check of their events calendar proves it out.

Saturday, September 7TH music legends Kansas will be in the house. That's right, Carry On and my favorite Love and Miracles Out of Nowhere. Kansas has always been a favorite of mine. When your musical cravings have you looking for more than three chords and the truth, they never disappoint!

Sunday, September 8TH one of Country Music's Tallest and coolest voices will be on stage singing stories! Trace Adkins never, ever leaves you wanting more.

Lonestar takes the stage Monday, September 9th. From Amazed, to My Front Porch Looking in, I say bring it!

Justin Moore will be in town on Thursday, September 12th. Yep, it's his dirt. Moore will bring in that uniquely shaped cowboy hat to go with his country is cool cowboy voice and of course, he'll have a backpack full of GREAT Songs!

Blues Traveler will be on hand Friday, September 13th, packing harmonicas and cool jams. BTW, they'll be joined by Spin Doctors who had the super Jamatacious situations, called Two Princes.

Third Eye Blind is in-house on Saturday, September 14th. Step back from that Ledge My Friend, Step Back!

Pack up the mini-van or load up the F-150. Whatever you drive, the trip will be worth it, to this year's Clay County Fair in Spencer, Nebraska.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota may not be smack dab in the middle of Tornado Alley, but we still get our share of severe thunderstorms. Thunder, rain, lighting, and tornadoes are all possible.

The thing about tornadoes is that they are very destructive and very rare. Most people probably won’t even see an actual twister in their life. But if they do, it can mean devastation.

We don’t need to be at battle stations all spring and summer and freak out every time it gets cloudy.
