Canistota's 'Craziest Show On Earth' Coming This Weekend

What do you get when you combine donkeys with basketball? You get the "craziest show on earth".

That is what you'll be seeing this Sunday, May 4, at the Canistota gymnasium when you come out for some legendary Donkey Basketball! Celebrity donkey jockeys will be trying their best to play basketball while riding donkeys from Dairyland Donkey Ball.

The festivities get underway at 4 PM, and there will be 4 teams playing 3 games to determine the Donkey Ball champion of Canistota. Tickets are available in advance for $9 from Randy Townsend at 605-595-2412, or you can just grab them at the door for $13. Pre-schoolers get in free.

Last year, they were packed to the rafters with people having the time of their lives watching the Donkey Ball shenanigans, so get your tickets soon.

Between games, there will be donkey rides for kids 12 and under with adult supervision.
