Sioux Falls Humane Society’s Bark in the Park A Howling Good Time
The Sioux Falls Humane Society invites animal lovers and their four-legged friends to join the annual Bark in the Park event on Saturday, September 28th at Pasley Park. This fun-filled day features a 3K/5K Fun Run to raise funds for homeless and neglected pets in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.
Participants can choose between a 3K walk/run or a 5K run, with registration including a goodie bag and race shirt. Pre-registration closes on September 27th at 8:00 am, but day-of registration is available for $45. The event kicks off at 9:45 am, with prizes awarded for the top pledger and fastest male and female runners in the timed 5K.
There will also be vendor booths where you can shop plus a 50/50 raffle available too where you could win half of the money raised.
The festivities continue with entertaining pet contests, including Doggie Musical Chairs, Prettiest Pooch, Handsome Hound, Best Trick, Furriest Friend, and Sloppiest Kiss. These playful competitions showcase the unique talents and charms of your canine companions.
Bark in the Park not only promises a day of fun but also supports a crucial cause. Every dollar raised helps provide care, medical treatment, and support for thousands of animals at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society.
