The top performers have one of three important ingredients, so it is important to read the label on your chosen product. All are safe when used as directed.
- DEET - 15 to 30% concentration is plenty
- Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus - Products that did well in the CR tests had 30%
- Picaridin- The products CR recommends mostly have 20%
