Comedian, writer, actress, and podcast host Whitney Cummings is bringing her stand-up to Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa in April.

Cummings is on stage at Grand Falls, Saturday, April 29, at 8:00 PM.

Cummings was born and raised in the Washington DC area.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, Cummings moved to Los Angeles where she began her career as a stand-up comedian.

By 2007, she was named one of '10 Comics to Watch' by Variety. That same year she began appearing as a regular guest on the E! series Chelsea Lately, and was a regular on the show until it ended in 2014.

In 2008, she was named one of '12 Rising Stars of Comedy' by Entertainment Weekly.

In August 2010, her first one-hour special, titled Whitney Cummings: Money Shot, premiered on Comedy Central.

In 2011, she co-created the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls while she also starred in the NBC sitcom Whitney, which she created and executive produced.

Cummings published her first book, I'm Fine...And Other Lies, a collection of personal stories about her life, in 2017.

Since 2019, Cummings has hosted her own podcast, Good For You, where she interviews friends, fellow comics, and celebrities.

The comedy duo of Williams and Ree will open the Grand Falls show.

The two have been performing together for more than 50 years, after first crossing paths as students at Black Hills State in Spearfish, back in 1968.
