A popular South Dakota concert venue and conference center is going by a different name for the first time in 17 years.

The Swiftel Center in Brookings is now the Dacotah Bank Center, as part of a new partnership with Aberdeen-based Dacotah Bank.

The City of Brookings will maintain ownership of the 6,000-seat arena and conference center. Management of the venue will be handled by OVG 360, a division of Los Angeles-based Oak View Group, which currently operates more than facilities around the world.
