Traffic Alert: Road Work on Veterans Parkway in Sioux Falls

One of the things drivers in eastern Sioux Falls love about Veterans Parkway is the ability to travel over large stretches of road at higher speed limits than on surrounding city streets, getting to their destinations faster.

Now, that free flow of traffic is about to be impacted for the next several days.

Beginning Wednesday (March 12), Veterans Parkway between Arrowhead Parkway and Rice Street will see lane closures to allow crews to install a fence along the east side of Veterans Parkway. During this time, pipe materials will also be delivered.

This work is part of the Pump Station 240 project. Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during operations.
