Holt is one of the Tide's top targets in the 2026 recruiting class. He is ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 2 shooting guard. Holt is a 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard from Prolific Prep High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

However, Holt is a native of Huntsville, Alabama. He's taken three visits to Alabama so far on September 9, 2023, January 27, 2024, and he was on campus for Alabama football's 41-34 win over Georgia on September 28 last season. Holt has not yet scheduled an official visit to Alabama, but the Tide having four total visits, including Tuesday's visit, is the second-most visits he's taken to one school. He's visited Auburn six times so far.

Holt won the 2023-24 Gatorade Alabama Boys' Basketball Player of the Year as a member of Buckhorn High School. According to the press release, Holt led his school to a 28-5 record and clinched the Class 6A State Championship, averaging 20.2 points, 9,5 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.4 assists per game. In the state championship against Mountain Brook, Holt notched a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

247 Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finelstein called Holt "physically imposing on the perimeter because he's strong and athletic with a consistently high motor."
