Legendary college basketball coach Bob Knight essentially threw a chair at the legacy of college basketball coaching legend John Wooden.

A record $185,000 was raised for local youth sports organizations by Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends in 2016, pushing the total donated since 2005 to $1,663,00

Bob Knight, one of college basketball’s winningest coaches, is among the seven celebrities who will visit South Dakota for 2016 Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends. The event runs June 9-21 at venues around Sioux Falls.
