The Augustana Viking Hockey program is off to a very strong start this season, and a big reason why is the man in the net.

The Augustana hockey team (6-6, 3-3 CCHA) takes on Northern Michigan (1-10-1, 0-5-1 CCHA) in conference play this weekend at Midco Arena. The action kicks off Friday at 7:07 p.m. and concludes on Saturday at 6:07 p.m.

The home opening weekend for the 2024 Augustana Hockey season drew a split with the Long Island University Sharks.

Augustana Athletics will be hosting an NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Regional in 2026 and will be joined by the Sioux Falls Sports Authority to host an NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Regional in 2028, the NCAA announced today.

Thus far in their brief existence, the Augustana Viking hockey program has been able to schedule some marquee programs.

The Inaugural season of Augustana Hockey both here in Sioux Falls and on the road was a big success.

The time is now to get more information and sign up for any of the five youth hockey camps that are put on by Augustana right here in Sioux Falls over the summer.

Augustana Hockey has had a tremendous start to their inaugural season. It's been a year full of amazing road trips, big wins, and wild fan support.

Perhaps just as anticipated as the arrival of Augustana Hockey here in Sioux Falls is the arrival of the games at the newly constructed Midco Arena on the campus of Augie here in the 605.

The inaugural Augustana Hockey season got off and running last weekend with a pair of games against Wisconsin.
