We were treated to one heck of a ballgame in this year's rivalry tilt between SDSU and South Dakota on Saturday.

The USD Coyotes picked up a massive win over the weekend in their MVFC opener against Southern Illinois and continued their upward trajectory in the latest rankings.

There's good and then there's great. The MVFC is GREAT thus far this season.

The Jackrabbits won their home opener over the weekend, and USD went on the road and fell to Wisconsin in a close game.
