Flooding

While portions of Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota are trying to deal with massive flooding here are some of the unbelievable rainfall amounts that have devastated the tri-state area.

In a statement from the Red Cross out of Sioux City, Iowa, the agency mobilized volunteers and resources to support those affected by the flooding in Northwest Iowa.

With Mother Nature kickstarting some higher temps this week, the flood risk in eastern South Dakota is on the rise.

LOOK: Sioux Falls received over 2-1/2 inches of rain. The rain combined with some major snowmelt caused widespread flooding in and around the city.

Recreational and commercial river traffic can continue on the Missouri River.
