There was an immediate need at offensive coordinator this offseason at Augustana following Tyler Paopao's exit to join the Idaho Vandal program.

Both SDSU and USD are still dancing in the FCS College Football playoffs, and both programs will host quarterfinal games this weekend.

Jason Eck has helped put Vandal football back on the map, and the school is now rewarding him with a contract extension.

An official with the University of Idaho athletic department says Paul Petrino has been hired as the new football coach for the Vandals.
