Dre Davis scored on a layup with 16 seconds left Thursday night to cap Seton Hall's decisive late run, giving the Pirates a 79-77 victory over Indiana State and their first NIT championship.

Zach Zenner rushed for 237 yards and a touchdown as South Dakota State knocked off #22 Indiana State 24-10 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference opener for both teams Saturday afternoon. The Jacks defense held Walter Payton Award candidate Shakir Bell to just 54 yards rushing.
