Quinnipiac jumped to an early lead and cruised past St. Cloud State 4-1 on Thursday in the NCAA hockey semifinals. Former Sioux Falls Stampede netminder and Hobey Baker finalist Eric Hartzell stopped 32 shots for the Bobcats.

Amanda Kessel scored twice, and the Gophers beat Boston University 6-3 on Sunday to become the first undefeated team in the 13-year history of NCAA women’s hockey, and run their winning streak to 49 straight games.
