Sioux Falls Stampede defenseman Preston Hodge has committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha for the 2013-2014 season. Hodge becomes the 17th player to commit to a Division I program this season.

Already on pace to set the all-time digs record at South Dakota State, Jackrabbit senior libero Shay Birath recorded 32 digs in Friday's 3-1 win over Nebraska-Omaha, which sets a new SDSU four set record.

Danielle Archuleta tracked down a loose ball deep in South Dakota territory and passed it across the box to Hannah Wampler for the decisive goal with 20 seconds remaining to give Nebraska-Omaha a 3-2 victory over the Coyotes Friday afternoon.
