We're still a few weeks away from final preparations for the upcoming college basketball season, and leagues and conferences have been putting out their preseason rankings and players to watch.

It's still the preseason, but South Dakotans and fans of the USD Football program had a ton to root for last night in the Monday Night Football contest between the Jets and the Falcons.

Football season may be getting a lot of the headlines lately, but volleyball season is about to be in full swing again as well. One area program sits atop the Preseason Coaches Poll for this season, in what is a very well represented poll for the Big Ten.
