Sioux Falls Airshow 2026 Could Use More Volunteers
The Sioux Falls Airshow 2026, Power On The Prairie, is one of the region’s premier events, bringing together aviation enthusiasts, families, and visitors from across the Midwest.
The Sioux Falls Air Show Featuring The Thunderbirds is a FREE event in Sioux Falls on July 18th & 19th.
Behind every successful airshow is an incredible team of volunteers who help create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for thousands of guests.
As planning continues for the 2026 Sioux Falls Airshow, organizers are looking for additional volunteers to join the team.
Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of areas.
The Volunteer Booth serves as the central hub for volunteer check-in and information.
Program volunteers greet guests and distribute free event programs throughout the grounds.
Kids Zone volunteers help supervise attractions and create a fun environment for families, while Kids ID Tent volunteers support child safety by creating identification wristbands and collecting emergency contact information.
Several positions are available in VIP and accessibility areas.
Chalet Management volunteers assist with guest access at chalet entrances, while Chalet volunteers help provide a positive experience for attendees in the VIP Chalets.
Chalet Cleaning volunteers help keep these areas clean and welcoming throughout the event.
Volunteers are also needed in the Handicap Chalet to assist guests and ensure accessibility accommodations are smoothly managed.
Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or multiple shifts, your time and dedication make a significant difference.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping the Sioux Falls Airshow deliver an outstanding experience for every guest.
