Racial tensions are at an all time high, and while Confederate monuments are coming down, people in opposition to this are raising their visibility.  Jordan Brand’s Frank Cooke, however, has his own voice as well and he’s using his platform in a very distinct way.

The Air Jordan 1 Black Lives Matter uses the iconic shoe as a backdrop to convey the message of equality and humanity. The ankle strap bears the phrase in block letters, while the rest of the shoe goes completely dark. Black suede, black leather accents and black waxed cotton laces all factor in to give the shoe its appeal.

These probably won’t be seeing a release but you can check them out here and follow Frank’s IG page for more exclusive heat.
