Sneakerhead: Off White x Air Jordan 1 Chicago

The Air Jordan 1’s place in the game has been firmly cemented for a while now, and Virgil Abloh is dropping in to shake things up a bit. His Off White brand is collaborating with Nike to remake the shoe in a deconstructed style that completely turns the model on its head.

The Air Jordan 1 that Off White has cooked up feels like like a pair that you’d find sitting on a designer’s desk, with loose panels and raw materials on display. Leather and mesh are involved, along with exposed foam and stitches. Details include typographical elements overlaid on top of the panels as well as some hidden design elements tucked away as well.

There is no word on when Nike will be releasing these but best believe that when they do, it will be an uber exclusive limited edition drop.
