The Detroit Lions held their final practice of the week on Thursday morning. The team will now get ready to head out to Oakland for their Week 3 preseason game on Saturday night against the Raiders.

It doesn't look like defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch will play in Saturday's game. After practicing earlier this week, Vanden Bosch seemed to be getting closer to being able to play, but he didn't take part in the team drills on Thursday, according to Dave Birkett.

The list of players who missed all of practice for the Lions on Thursday included running back Stefan Logan, wide receiver Ryan Broyles and linebacker Travis Lewis. Logan and Lewis will likely miss Saturday's game, but Broyles could play if Thursday was just a day off to get some rest.

Running back Mikel Leshoure is still expected to make his NFL debut on Saturday, and Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan expects him to play a "fair amount."
