One of the biggest stars in professional football returned to his alma mater over the weekend.

Wyoming Football History: Allen’s Record-Breaking College Career

Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills attended the University of Wyoming. For two seasons (2016-2017) Allen served as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys, according to his college bio.

The NFL MVP actually led Wyoming to two consecutive eight-win seasons, and two consecutive bowl appearances.

Wyoming Retires Josh Allen’s No. 17 Jersey in Laramie

On November 22, Allen returned to Laramie for a special moment as his college officially retired his No. 17 jersey.

His wife, actress and singer Hailey Steinfeld was also at War Memorial Stadium to celebrate this massive achievement.

However, fans of Colorado State University are raising their eyebrows over the quarterback's speech.

The crowd erupted at the last comment directed at Wyoming's rival.
