People that know me are aware of the fact that one of my greatest passions is sports. I have my favorite teams in basketball, hockey, football, baseball and even soccer. I have no problem sitting down and watching golf, boxing, racing (both car and horses) and don't even get me started on the Olympics. (Love them!)

But I will be honest, one sport that I really haven't been attracted to is tennis. But I'm beginning to think that is about to change - thanks to a new underwear ad for Tommy Hilfiger.

The brand Tommy Hilfiger is getting set to launch a new campaign for their tailored clothing, underwear and a new men's cologne and have named Rafael Nadal as their new face and body ambassador for these products.

The world’s eighth-ranked tennis player, 29-year old Rafael Nadal, just signed a two-year contract with Hilfiger that begins this fall. Nadal will not loan his name to any of the products, but he will be the face and body that will appear in print ads and television and digital advertising.

Hilfiger points out that Nadal is the perfect choice for the ads because he is known globally. The designer also says,

He’s not doctored up, that’s the real guy. He also looks amazing in the underwear and the clothes.

Nadal will not only help debut the new men's fragrance, TH Bold, but will help Hilfiger rebuild the underwear brand, which it has had for two decades. The new product will include a four-way stretch microfiber and a sleek waistband.

Really? I guess I didn't even notice. Did you? (wink wink)
