After taking a three-run lead in the third inning the Oakland A's were left scratching their heads as the most hated team in Major League Baseball picked away and then slam-dunked game-1 of the American League Division Series on Monday.  The Houston Astros Carlos Correa notched two homers in the 10-5 win having a 4-RBI day.

The A's would see zero's in the rest of the frames as starting pitcher Chris Bassitt would hand-off to seven relievers.

Game-2 is Tuesday.

Moving on to the Yankees-Ray series, Giancarlo Stanton extended his home run tear with a grand slam in the ninth inning with New York winning the opener 9-3.

Starting pitcher Gerrit Cole was throwing heat as the gun read 100.1 MPH with the bases loaded in the 5th inning.

Tuesday the MLB postseason packs in a 4-pack of games. Here on ESPN 99.1, we will have coverage of game-1 between the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves beginning at 12:45 PM.
