Sorry! Sioux Falls Restaurant Turns Away Comedian Rob Schneider
It's not every day a celebrity walks into not one, but two local Sioux Falls restaurants to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the city.
Comedian Rob Schneider recently performed at the Washington Pavilion and wanted to explore the local Sioux Falls restaurant scene. Unfortunately, because Rob Schneider didn't reserve a table for his party, one Sioux Falls restaurant had to turn him away!

Chef Lance's on Phillips in Sioux Falls is one of the most popular establishments in the Sioux Empire. It's the perfect spot to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, special occasions, or just a regular date night.
Owners of Chef Lance's on Phillips have always advised their loyal customers to always make a reservation because you might not have a table if you just walk in. Even celebrities like Rob Schneider can't get in without a reservation!

Yep...Rob Schneider and six of his friends walked into Chef Lance's on Phillips without reservations. Alas, Chef Lance's on Phillips was "completely full" the night he walked in. However, in a sympathetic Facebook post, Chef Lance himself shared that he had the idea that would help another local business and Rob Schneider's appetite.
We sadly had to send him over to see our good friends at Ironwood Steakhouse. Luckily they were able to accommodate his group.
The moral of this story is, even if you're Rob Schneider, if you don't have a Reservation on a Friday or Saturday night, you're likely not getting a table.
We are a small restaurant and we're almost always full on Friday and Saturday nights. Sometimes 1-2 weeks in advance.
Rob Schneider made appearances at Chef Lance's on Phillips and Ironwood Steakhouse last Friday night.
This is a good lesson to learn! No matter if you're a celebrity or not, always make a reservation at any Sioux Falls restaurant.
