Sioux Falls Mayor Is Challenging You To A 100 Mile Race
It's time once again to get your sneakers ready and put some air in your bike tires! For the fifth year in a row, Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken is getting the city pumped for the Mayor's Fitness Challenge.
All you have to do is log 100 miles by either walking, running, or biking beginning Saturday, April 27th. Mayor TenHaken recently posted on his Facebook sharing the exciting news of the 2024 #100Miles100DaysSF fitness challenge.
In the Facebook post on his page, Mayor TenHaken explains the 2024 #100Miles100DaysSF fitness challenge party is at Cherapa Riverside Pavilion at 10 AM on April 27th. In a Facebook post, Mayor TenHaken reminded his followers that taking care of your health is super important. He's also been impressed with the city's participation!

The #100Miles100DaysSF Fitness Challenge is coming back with a goal. This year, Mayor TenHaken wants to see people get creative. This community's goal is to run, walk, bike, rollerblade, or walk on your hands...haha kidding!
Every April I put out the "100 Miles, 100 Days" challenge. Walk, run, bike, rollerblade, but just get active! It's pretty simple...you set a goal for yourself and from April 27-August 5, you get after it! We've logged thousands of miles over the years and the stories are always incredible

The #100Miles100DaysSF is a great way to experience the bike trails and the open spaces that Sioux Falls has to offer. I know I have a blast participating in the Fitness Challenges all while enjoying some great sunny days! Even my dog, Honey was able to join me for some miles when the challenge first started!
