VIDEO: South Dakota Firemen Reunite Mom & Fawn In Rescue
A South Dakota fire department performed an incredible rescue mission late last week.
The Rapid City Fire Department did an unusual rescue that has been gaining a lot of social media attention. The fire rescue crew was able to save a distressed mule deer fawn and reunite the young animal with its mother.

Last week, the brave men and women of the Rapid City Fire Department saved a mule deer fawn after falling in a drainage culvert. It was not an easy task to save the mule deer fawn. But after some patience, the rescue plan was a success!
What a catch! Mom was close by watching the Rapid City Fire Department crew save her baby.
It was another fawn-tastic rescue! Firefighters saved this mule deer fawn from this drainage culvert today as mom stood watch! They were reunited and it didn’t look like mom was too fawn’d of her little one’s behavior. But she still loves them deerly.
