Alabama Named Most-Watched Team in CFB Through Ween 12
The Alabama Crimson Tide continues to draw the eyes of the nation, with On3 Sports reporting that Alabama has been the most-watched team in college football this season, according to Nielsen.

On average, the Crimson Tide has drawn 8.14 million viewers weekly, with multiple games for Alabama drawing over 10 million viewers, including the Tide's 24-21 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Tide's 23-21 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners.
Alabama and Oklahoma was the most-watched game of last weekend on ESPN and ABC, with the Sooners and the Crimson Tide averaging 10.5 million viewers on Saturday, with a peak of 14.1 million. Texas and Georgia was the second most-watched game, with an average of 10.4 million, and a peak of 12.1 million.
Alabama has played in a handful of entertaining, one-score matchups this season, with victories over Georgia, Missouri, and South Carolina on the road, and multi-score wins over Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and LSU at home this season. Alabama's two losses came to unranked Florida State in week one, where the Crimson Tide struggled in Tallahassee to run the ball, and at home by two points to Oklahoma in a game Alabama turned the ball over three times.
Alabama will likely have more highly-watched games this season, with the Iron Bowl slated to be the first night kickoff since 2014, and the first night Iron Bowl in Jordan-Hare Stadium since 2007. With a win over Auburn and a little bit of help this weekend, Alabama can clinch the SEC championship, which will be played on Saturday, December 6, at 4:30 p.m. ET.
