Alabama Starting Linebacker Set to Miss Time with Injury Suffered vs. Georgia
Alabama secured a big victory over the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night in Athens, defeating the Bulldogs 24-21.

Alabama was in high spirits after the game, and the 24-hour rule no doubt still has the Crimson Tide elevated after the win, but the high spirits were dampened a bit on Sunday.
During the game, starting Wolf linebacker Qua Russaw was taken to the locker room and did not return in the second half of Saturday's win due to an injury. Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports on Sunday that Russaw is set to undergo surgery on Sunday for the foot injury that he suffered in Alabama's win.
Russaw is set to miss time, although the exact timeline is uncertain right now. It's the second injury Alabama has suffered in the linebacker room this week, with Jah-Marien Latham suffering a neck injury during practice for the Georgia game.
In Russaw's place, redshirt sophomore Yhonzae Pierre played significant snaps against Georgia on Saturday, totaling four total tackles and two solo tackles against the Bulldogs.
Russaw, also a redshirt sophomore, started Alabama's wins over ULM, Wisconsin, and Georgia after Latham was "banged up" in Alabama's 31-17 loss to Florida State. So far this season, Russaw has totaled four tackles and one sack.
Yhonzae Pierre has recorded 11 stops, including three tackles for loss, and one sack.
