Meek Mill Donates $10K to Colin Kaepernick's #10for10 Campaign

Meek Mill may be in prison serving a two to four year sentence for a minor parole violation, but that hasn't stopped him from giving back to the people.

The rapper has donated to Colin Kaepernick's #10for10 campaign, the final push in Kaep's vow to give $1 million to various community organizations.

"Despite my brother @meekmill’s current circumstances, he continues to stay connected in the community of Philly," Kapernick wrote on Twitter. "He pledged to go #10for10 on my #MillionDollarPledge. We’re both donating $10k for a combined $20k to Youth Service Inc. Keep staying strong Meek, we love you brother!"

The campaign was started by the former NFL quarterback in effort to give back to various charities. Kaep vowed to give $100,000 per month to different organizations in effort to strengthen the community at large, and has held true to his word.

So far, he's donated to 40 organizations over the past year, including Life After Hate, Leaders of Beautiful Struggle, Meals on Wheels, Somalia Famine Relief, Black Veterans for Social Justice, Center for Reproductive Rights and many more.

This is the final month of the pledge, and for the last 10 days of the effort, Kaepernick is doing something a bit different, as his various celebrity friends have donated $10,000 in the #10for10 campaign. So far, Snoop Dogg, Jesse Williams, Serena Williams, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and more have donated, with Meek donating on the ninth day of the drive.
