It is a promoters worst nightmare when the main event gets affected heading up to the card, but when it happens hours before the main card it becomes a disaster.

Amanda Nunes, the woman credited with ending Rousey's career at least at this point, backed out of her title defense at UFC 213 because of a illness.

That illness however, wasn't severe enough for doctors to not clear her and the decision to not fight was decided by Nunes herself as she said she "didn't feel right" according to UFC President Dana White.

White didn't stop there in sharing more information about his opinion on Nunes backing out saying on Sportscenter that he would never put Nunes in a main event again.

This was the third fighter to have to back out of the UFC 213 card which certainly affected the bottom line and the number of pay per view buys.

The UFC is seeing a ongoing problem with fighters being ready and in this case willing to get in the octagon amid injuries or illness. It has been a problem for the UFC as they try to keep momentum with their sport.
