Bo Pelini may have been fired from Nebraska but the former head coach made sure to have the last word.

According to the Omaha World-Herald, Pelini conducted a meeting with the players of Nebraska prior to him leaving. The audio that was obtained by the Omaha World-Herald included many insults towards Nebraska Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst.

“I didn't really have any relationship with the A.D., The guy, you guys saw him (Sunday), the guy is a total p----. I mean, he is. He's a total c---.”

Pelini questioned the values of Eichorst and questioned his commitment to the players of the university.

"To have core values means you have to be about something, you have to represent something that is important to you. He's a f------ lawyer who makes policies. That’s all he’s done since he’s been here: hire people and make policies to cover his own ass...he's never been in the locker room at the end of the day. He was never going to support us."

The job in itself starting to take a toll on the new Youngstown State head coach. He told his players that working for Nebraska was bad for his health, and even said working in fast food would be better.

"I said to Kaz at one point, this job is killing me. I don't want to die doing this job. I don't want to have a heart attack on this job...I'd rather f------ work at McDonalds than working in front of those guys. Not there there is anything bad about working at McDonalds"

While the rant did include many strong words towards the administration, there was another common theme. Pelini discussed with his players that he is always available for them.

"I don't care if it's 10 years down the road fellas, you pick up the phone and call me."
