Hooray! Sioux Falls Costco Celebrates 10 Years in Community

Get ready for a huge celebration with free samples and large pizza slices taking place at a popular warehouse in Sioux Falls. On October 3rd, 2013, the City of Sioux Falls welcomed the first Costco to town.

After ten years in the Sioux Empire, Costco Wholesale Warehouse in Sioux Falls is still the only Costco in the state of South Dakota. Deals on produce, whole chickens, and gas have never been the same since Costco opened its doors ten years ago.

Costco Wholesale Warehouse in Sioux Falls is located just off 41st Street at 3700 South Grange Avenue. It's hard to believe that it's been ten years since the warehouse opened! People are just as excited about Costco now as they were ten years ago.

Prior to opening day, some of my co-workers and friends Ben Davis and Patty Dee from 97.3 KKRC were able to get an exclusive sneak peek of the new Sioux Falls Costco. The warehouse wasn't even in business yet and people were charging through to get the first glimpse of the new Costco in Sioux Falls.

Ben Davis did a great job highlighting items you can purchase in bulk and the food court area with delicious meals to try. It also shows how busy Costco was and still is to this day!

There is a new article from Delish Magazine that highlights the best Costcos in every state. By default, the Sioux Falls Costco is the best place to shop. Even if there was another Costco in South Dakota, I would still say Sioux Falls is the place to be. This Costco is not just in a central location for Sioux Falls residents, but also for people who travel from Minnesota and Iowa.
