Owners of Salas Salsas Marcella Salas and mom Patricia Burbine started their firey business making and selling homemade salsa. Marcella and her mom could be found everywhere around the Sioux Empire spreading the word about Salas Salsas including the Falls Park Farmers Market, Brandon Winter Market, and local Hy-Vee stores. This salsa is hot stuff and Sioux Falls can't get enough of it!

Their new restaurant Bibi Sol promises to bring this flavor to life and give its Sioux Empire patrons a truly unique experience.

"At BibiSol, we passionately embrace our matriarchal heritage and the sacred traditions of ancient Mexican indigenous culture. As immigrants, settling into a new land is profoundly meaningful for us, and we emphasize the importance of acknowledging and revering our home. Through intentional practices like nixtamalization, using simple and wholesome ingredients, and prioritizing local sustainability, we weave a tapestry that connects generations and cultures. BibiSol offers ease for those craving authentic and unapologetic foods with convenient to-go options, in-house dining, and a selection of Mexican beverages. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of clients who share our commitment to delicious food that preserves cultural heritage and honors the land we now call home."

I have tried the salsa from Salas Salsas and let me say...it's really tasty! It does have heat. But it's so worth it!

We can't wait for Bibi Sol to open its doors in the spring of 2024!
