Extra Seating Being Added for South Dakota Trump Appearance
When former President Donald Trump comes to South Dakota next month, he'll be speaking in front of a larger crowd than originally expected.
According to the Washington Examiner, additional seating is being added for Trump's appearance at the Monumental Leaders Rally at the Rapid City Ice Arena, Friday, September 8 at 5:30 PM.
After the initial allotment of 6,000 seats sold out, the South Dakota Republican Party decided to add 900 more seats for the event. The official capacity of the venue is listed as 7,500.
The new tickets will be available for purchase for those already on a waitlist, Tuesday (August 29) at 10:00 AM Mountain Time. General public tickets will be available for purchase, Thursday (August 31) at 10:00 AM MDT.
Tickets are $25 per person.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will also be speaking at the event.
