An Iowa who admits to damaging a number of law enforcement vehicles is looking for your help to pay her legal bills.

According to Axios Des Moines, self-described 'Organizer' Giada Morresi keyed 15 Story County Sheriff and Iowa State Patrol vehicles parked outside Jack Trice Stadium in Ames during last September's Iowa-Iowa State football game.

The incident was captured on security cameras.

In March, Morresi pleaded guilty to a felony charge of criminal mischief and was ordered to pay nearly $45,000 in restitution.

She is now looking for assistance to pay up.

Morresi has set up a Go Fund Me page with the goal of raising $50,000.

On her page, Morresi justifies the ask:

'I do not regret my actions. I stand by what I did. I also cannot afford to cover these costs, which is why I am turning to my community for help.'

She also doesn't deny her role in the vandalism:

'Let's be clear- I got in trouble for something the cops do on a regular basis without punishment. Cops regularly harass, assault, and even kill people and are protected by qualified immunity. Rarely do they have to take accountability for their actions, instead it is us, the taxpayers, who bear the burden of paying for massive settlements to survivors and victims of police violence.

I keyed some cop cars. Minor damage. The cars are still fully operational. What I did was not a violent act. Property damage is not violence. The police are always violent.'

As of Monday (May 20), the page had received 27 donations generating $1,060.
