A five-block stretch of 10th Street in Sioux Falls is going to be impacted by road construction for much of the rest of 2024

Starting Tuesday (May 28), West 10th Street will be closed between West Avenue and Euclid Avenue to allow crews to reconstruct the street.

It's all part of the $3 million 10th Street/Pettigrew Neighborhood Street and Utility Improvements Project.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Ninth Street, 11th Street, or 12th Street.

This is the first phase of a multiple-phase project to reconstruct West 10th Street from West Avenue to Menlo Avenue, Covell Avenue from 10th Street to 11th Street, and Menlo Avenue from Ninth Street to 10th Street.
