Local fans of the music of Electric Light Orchestra were disappointed this week to learn that an upcoming Sioux Falls show paying tribute to the band has been cancelled.

Turn to Stone: A Tribute to ELO, was scheduled to take place at the Orpheum Theater on May 14th.

Ticket holders will receive refunds to their original form of payment. Contact the Orpheum Box Office at 605-367-6000.

No reason was given for the cancellation, although the band's Sioux Falls show wasn't the only one they pulled the plug on that weekend. The May 15th show in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and the May 16th show in Austin, Minnesota, were also dropped from the schedule.
