Week nine was full of close games, as there were only  a few games that were not decided by one score. Lets break down the ex-Bama players that had the most to contribute.

Ravens - 28 at Dolphins - 6:

Derrick Henry (Ravens) - Averaging 6.3 yards per carry, Henry had a great showing even without finding the end-zone. 119 yards on the ground mad him the the guy to move the chains as well as being the one to run the clock, keeping the ball away from the Dolphins.

Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins) - Quite the disastrous game from this offense. Tagovailoa was not able to get much going for this offense and did throw a costly interception. Not much went well for this Dolphins offense outside of running the ball well with Achane.

Jaylen Waddle (Doplhins) - Six catches for 82 yards, Waddle was the lead receiver for the team in this matchup. Even so, this offense still could not make their way into the end-zone. Battling a ton of injuries and a lackluster defense held them back a ton. Especially with Tagovailoa not seeing the field very well.

Vikings - 27 at Lions - 24:

Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - Gibbs did not have much going for him in this one, as he only had nine carries for 25 yards, and three yards off three catches. Game flow held him back for sure as the Lions threw the ball a ton to get back on the board. It is only the second time this season that Gibbs had less than ten carries in a game.

Jameson Williams (Lions) - Four catches, 66 yards, and a touchdown, Williams had himself a night. He seemingly has his better games against the Vikings. His score came later in the game to tie the game. Big play for Williams.

Panthers - 16 at Packers - 13:

Bryce Young (Panthers) - Young led this team to a great win against a quality Packers team on the road. With a heavy run game script, young completed 11/20 passes for 102 yards and an interception. Not his best performance but it was enough to move the chains when needed, especially when Dowdle was having another great game on the ground.

Josh Jacobs (Packers) - 17 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown, the Packers leaned on Jacobs even more in this one once Kraft went down with a torn ACL. With Love struggling they needed him more, but the Carolina defense stood firm when needed.

Player of the week: Derick Henry (Ravens)

With a smaller slate of games due to byes, Henry stood out as the most impactful Bama player this weekend.

That does it for the week nine recap. Check back Thursday for the week 10 outlook.
