ESPN has confirmed that afternoon radio host Will Cain will be leaving the company at the end of June.

In a memo released to ESPN Radio affiliates, the company has confirmed that Cain will be departing ESPN Radio in 2020. That move will take place at the end of June. Multiple outlets have reported that Cain will be joining FOX News and FOX Nation as part of his departure.

That will mean a change for us here on ESPN 99.1 starting in July. We currently only air one hour of the Will Cain show from 2-3 PM and will continue to air the new show in that same timeframe when it debuts.

Cain opened his show on Friday quickly noting the reports but deferred to elaborate on his future until next week.

As of now, ESPN has not said who will be replacing Cain. Some potential names, per Andrew Marchand of a New York Post report, could include Mina Kimes, Max Kellerman, or Peter Rosenberg.

When we do receive information as to who will replace Cain from 2-3 PM, we will let you know. The rest of the ESPN 99.1 lineup remains the same:
