So How Does The New "Stensland On-The Go" Work?

It's pretty simple. The Stensland Family Farms Ice Cream lays out all the details to have sweet treats in your home:

1. Visit our online order site to place your order for Stensland favorites.

2. Select from ice cream, cheese curds, and more — plus, 5% of every order will be donated to your
local FFA group.
3. Choose your town, date, and pickup time during checkout, then mark your calendar!
4. Meet us at your local pickup spot when Stensland On-the-Go rolls into town.

The first pickup dates and locations are already set. The first couple of stops will be in Iowa.

3:00–4:00 PM in Orange City, Iowa – Holland Plaza Theatre
5:00–6:00 PM in Sioux Center, Iowa-Central Vet Clinic

If you want some farm-fresh treats, submit your orders by Thursday, November 13th. "Stensland On-The Go" will deliver your order on Tuesday, November 18th.

Every state in our nation has chosen things that represent the state in one way or another to be official state things. Like a flower, or animal. South Dakota is no different.

The Mount Rushmore has a state flower. But did you know we also have a state tree and a state fish? Yes, we even have a state code.

Gone But Not Forgotten - Iconic Sioux Falls: Whiffer's Sandwiches

The Merriam-Webster definition of iconic is "widely recognized and well-established." That would definitely describe Whiffer's Sandwiches which used to call North Minnesota Avenue home.

The gone but not forgotten sandwich shop was located in an old house at 1133 North Minnesota Avenue. It served sandwiches to Sioux Falls from November 1978 until the summer of 2020.
