Weddings can be wonderful and unpredictable all at the same time. You can plan everything out to the minute. But nothing prepares a soon-to-be bride for the stomach flu, a massive snowstorm, missing candles, and a stalled freight train making you late to your wedding.

On Friday, March 15th, 2024, I married the love of my life...Christopher James Gilman. We could not have asked for a better day. The sun was shining and the sky was a crystal clear blue. After a wild week leading up to the wedding, the day was a beautiful gift.

I expected a couple of surprises throughout the week. Let's just say "Murphy's Law" was following me during St. Patrick's week:

  • I split my nail thanks to the dishwasher.
  • I had an awful stomach bug for almost a week.
  • We were missing some candles that we ordered for our tables.
  • We had to rearrange our seating chart.
  • There was a massive snowstorm in the Denver, Colorado area. Unfortunately due to this storm, one of my best friends and bridesmaids could not attend the wedding.

Chris and I experienced a lot of different emotions during our wedding week. But no matter what happened throughout the week, WE DID IT! Our families and friends surrounded us on our special day as we committed our lives to one another. We are so blessed and yes...lucky.

Our wedding was the biggest St. Patrick's Day party in town. Here are some moments of our wedding day!

Our Wedding Weekend
